Default Exhaust leak?

Started with a ticking sound, then sounded like air passing through a hose. Never worked on an exhaust before. Anything I should know before I get her on jack stands?

I'd attach the video but evidently I can't do that here.

Um. dont burn yourself.

A easy fast way to check is to have the vehicle running. You may have not thought this through. When running it can be unstable so the risk of life and death is much higher. You must have approved method for raising the vehicle, and letting it run, while you check for leaking. It may take a while and after 15 seconds the exhaust may burn the !@(*) out of you. So having someone crank the car somehow while you are nearly ready to go under it might help. Using a lift can be hard to get to the key with the car up in the air also, it gets very hot on the way up when started before the raise.

On the other hand it may be a super obvious leak. Hopefully you can see it something simple. Look first before you go through all of that extra steps, try to see from the side without raising the car use a flashlight or something.

It sounds like you are asking whether your own reply was an ai¿

If inquiry is on what I Write, I would point out

Before ai existed. I type many hundred thousands of pages and code, coding like this, with fingers on a keyboard.
I write that sort of software, many similar programs, decades ago.

It may be shocking for those have never written software before and understand the syntax of many programming languages at once
And due to many criticizing lengthy posts, 'its too long didn't read' condensation of code is required, making it seem abrupt perhaps to casual onlooking, I assure you the necessary information is present to understand what I am saying nevertheless to get the details

If you'd like longer more complete sentence and explanations I would be happy to provide them. Just don't ask for much punctuation or spelling, a waste of time and collapse of society, et al

Dude quit hijacking my thread. If it's not about working on a C5 exhaust, don't bother replying.

Wat.

I literally posted gold exhaust leaking information.

Then was accused of using ai?

And that is dangerous. You don't want to follow ai instructions working on a vehicle you could be hurt.

So I made a post to reconcile that I was not in fact using ai to generate important information about exhaust leaking.

And now you seem to have missed the entire post about exhaust leaking and focusing on my defense which identifies the legitimacy of that knowledge?

THAT is a good joke. Nice try though.

I'll be clear:
A. As a top engine tuner in the country and you should be thankful I make any posts
B. I am a doctor in mechanical engineering. Ignore at your own risk
C. it doesn't matter what you say or think ... the information is public for everyone not just you
