C5 Heads up Display

I'm sure this has been posted elsewhere but I'm unable to locate the information. I was looking at my dash and heads up display through the windshield and noticed that the heads up looks like the screen is cracked and burned. The heads up display works fine with no distortion. The cracking look reminds me of being in the sun too long. Is that what this is or is it normal? Thanks

This is the heads up display as seen through the windshield. The top of the photo looks heat damaged?

That's just the rubberized non-glare coating which has been cooked in the sun. Other than being ugly, should not affect HUD performance.
