I tried to use my a/c today. When I push the button the light will come on and within a couple seconds it turns off.
I checked the fuse, it's good. I swapped the relay with the horns, no luck. The clutch still does not turn. The a/c has worked great all summer with no issues.
The radiator fans come on as should. The HVAC panel seems to be working as should as well. I can switch between the defroster, floor and vents with no issues.
I’d let an AC shop first see if there is an electrical issue and if that’s good and if you are low on refrigerant let them find the leak and recharge the system…use the DIC or a scan tool to check for DTC’s (P15xx) for the AC clutch…they do not illuminate the MIL.

Thoughts?
Keep your fingers crossed that your leak isn't at the evaporator. You know, the part that actually gets ice cold and provides the interior with cold air. If it is, the whole front end of the interior/dash has to be gutted to get access to it. A $3,000 job if you have a shop do it. If you have a buddy with a "sniffer" you can hold it in front of the dash vents (once you have the system charged) and see. If it starts beeping, it's more than likely the evap......
What was the outside temp?
In the 35 to 50 degree range the system shuts the A/C off. Below 35 the A/C comes on and blows through the defroster. Above 50 it does the same thing until high 60s or your a/c temp setting.
I've found the best setting is to leave it at 73 and let it do what it wants to do. It will anyway.
If you try to get your way, you'll just annoy the Corvette and frustrate yourself.
73 is actually nice.
Here, have some Kool-Aid.
Today, before doing anything on the car, I noticed on my way out this morning, the a/c light will stay on now, but no a/c is blowing.
It would not take any freon, it appears to be full.
Outside temp was in the high 60's this morning. When the original issue occurred, the outside temp was either high 70's or low 80's.
What do you mean “it would not take Freon” ??…what EXACTLY are you doing to add refrigerant ??…are you using a manifold set or are you filling with those refrigerant cans you can buy at a auto parts store ??…you don’t just add refrigerant !!…if the compressor clutch is not engaged my friend this won’t work…you must diagnose the electrical part of the circuit so you can use the schematic I pasted…if you have a compressor clutch DTC the compressor clutch will not engage…you must clear that DTC…as I mentioned leave this to a shop…don’t want to see you or your car get hurt !!
