Good morning folks got a possible unique one for ya. Currently have a reduced engine power message, no comm with PCM and crank no start.
Now for the unique part. When key is turned to ACC a loud buzzing comes from the ignition relay under the hood, while its buzzing there is no comm with BCM and other things, if I go out, unplug and plug it back in, comm comes back
I’ve already burnt through one ignition relay so far. I’ve also replaced the ignition switch but the problem persists.
I will say that the original owner must’ve been a rock lover because there are random wires everywhere and I’m at a complete loss.
Any help at all would be extremely appreciated.
As for current codes here they are, if you need history codes let me know.

Update your profile for model and year....all C5s are not the same.
What is the history here leading up to the problem?
If a relay is chattering you have:
1) Relay failure
2) Under voltage
3) High resistance ground
The "rock lover" comment relating to wires going everywhere is lost on me. What wires? From where to where?

It’s a 2001 Z06. The rock lover was a joke about him smoking it. The wires I’m talking about include a long yellow wire wired to the positive terminal that leads in the direction of the PCM but I haven’t narrowed it down.
There are also a lot of joined wires near the BCM and I’m not sure what they do.
As for the possible solutions, it has a new ignition relay and new battery

You should probably check for pin fitment in the fusebox if your concern cleared up after removing and reinstalling the relay…I’d also do a voltage drop from battery positive to PCM Fuse 16 since it is the coil side feed to the ignition relay after the fuse…you need to try to crank the engine over to perform a voltage drop check.

Any recommendations on how to check the fitment? I've heard to use a male pin but I have no idea where to get one.
I also recommend to verify the continuity between the IGN relay 42 and ground G106 including the splicepoint S120.
Any bad connection on the negative side of relay 42 could problems
