Default Trying to Troubleshoot a Code

I have done a lot of searching to try and find information on how to solve a code. Maybe someone here has some insight. The car is a 2003 Anniversary Edition convertible. Here is the situation:

1. After driving the car for 10 minutes or so, I get a "Service Vehicle Soon" message on the DIC. Every time.
2. I get NO check engine light.
3. When I press "Reset" on the dash, the error does not return for the rest of the drive.
4. The code reader displays "P1652 Powertrain Induced Chassis Pitch Output Circuit".
5. In addition to pressing Reset, we have also cleared the code through the OBD port.

It has been difficult to find a "specific" documented cause, and basically no information on how to fix it. Obviously I don't want to just throw parts at it.

Does anyone here have any insight on what the repair might be? If you have any questions, just fire away.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, thanks! Lots of information there to digest. I don't have that info in my manual. Now it's time to get to work!

Here is the ES .pdf for an 04. If you dig around in the service manual available here you can probably find one specific to an 03.
