Default Help with Electrical

I was working on an Electrical issue I wich I later found out was just a bad battery, now I am stumped cuz I found a wire and I cannot for the life of me determine where this should be plugged in. (Picture attached) This is on the driver's side. I took off the engine cover and I can't see any place where this should plug in. I've never had a check engine light on and now suddenly I have an engine light, so I have a feeling this is some type of sensor and I can't see where it plugs in.
I apologize now cuz I know this is probably something silly and easy and dumb

My guess: That's power for your washer tank pump, and it is supposed to hook up under the tank. Does your WW pump work?

Yes, pink and black would be the pump motor.

So pull/post your codes. That plug for the washer pump is not the source of the MIL.
