Hi,
I have a 2002 and just had harmonic balancer replaced. Upon leaving the garage the check engine light came on and the turn signals weren’t working. They were working before this and check engine light wasn’t on. I called the garage to come pick it up which they did. I know it has to be something they did while working on HB. Any ideas what could have happened?
Thanks in advance

The C5 front turn signal issue has thousands of posts. I agree with MM. It's my understanding that after the signal housings were given the green light for manufacturing, someone at GM changed the bulb setup to a much hotter bulb. Heat is the enemy of the stock system. I fought this for years. Eventually, the only thing that worked for me was going to LEDs and an aftermarket flasher.....

I'm new to the C5 (2003) and I am wondering if the turn signal at the front also serves the purpose of a parking light. If this is the case, limiting use of the parking light may avoid a 'too hot' problem ???
