Default Fuel pump failure

Hi, 01 Zo6 with 40k kilometers swaped rear diff & after that car started & drove it for a day & next day cranking no start & fuel pump not priming , checked & found that pump is dead & replaced it with GM 19421092 , car started & drove fine then next day again cracking no start , checked & found new pump dead again 🤦 .
Fuse & relay are OK, any reason may cause this or is it just new part failure?

Ahmad

How EXACTLY did you determine the pump was “dead” ??…maybe apply power and ground directly to the pump and if the pump runs it’s not the pump…how did you test the relay ??

1st pump was tested using a jumper then removed from the fuel tank & they tested it directly & it wasn't working, 2nd pump again the same procedure.

If you bought this pump from Amazon or EBay you can expect those results !!…now did you jumper from the battery directly to the pump or from the harness connector ??

it was from ebay but it is original GM , as per the mechanic they checked by jumper the relay & also directly to the pump harness.
