Default MagnaFlow exhaust?

Curious if anyone has tried the Magnaflow "competition" exhaust for the C5?
I was researching something else and came across this guy, different design than you see other places.
MagnaFlow 2000-2004 Chevrolet Corvette Competition Series Cat-Back Performance Exhaust System

Integrated X-Pipe with resonators before the X. No 180deg bends at the mufflers. They also tie the rear tips together to avoid the dreaded C5 exhaust droop. Seems like the way to do this.

To be clear, I'm not in the market (have run a bypassed Ti setup). I just like creative designs

You can be as creative as you want if interior noise/drone is not a concern.

Amen to that! Back in 2003 I bought a set of C5 specific Flowmaster mufflers. Man, are they HEAVY!! Not nearly as many choices back then, so I paid $250/each (!) at Summit. Had to saw off the OEM mufflers and clamp them to the OEM pipes. Loved the sound. For the first 50 miles of a nice, 200 mile road trip. After that, OMG....The DRONE!! Everyone commented "Man, that sure sounds good." Well, thanks, and yeah, it does sound nice.......Until you drive it those 50 miles and your head is ringing. On this most recent drive from Michigan to Florida, I'd finally had enough! I finally found a mint set of C5 Z06 Ti mufflers/pipes within 30 miles for under $500. They're on there now. They sound just right with Kooks LTs, no cats, on a big engine with a cam. I'll bet one Flowmaster muffler weighs almost as much as the entire Ti system does. Still have the Flowmasters. They're in the attic now.....

Well, if you like creative design, then check out my custom design axle-back.
It uses the C5 Corvette Magnaflow 180 mufflers, which are very moderate in tone, and then it has electric cutout valves plumbed to the center tips to bypass the majority of the exhaust sound straight out. Quiet when closed up, nearly full mufflerless sound when open.

I'm running this exhaust because I needed the space formerly occupied by the mufflers for trans/diff coolers. Anyways, it's extremely loud and drones quite a bit. Had to buy ear plugs for track days

I guess the resonators aren't doing their job after all. I do wish more companies would tie the tips together like on this setup

I have plenty of interior videos from track days, but not sure if I have any from the outside. I'll have to check!
