Default Heat/climate control not working

I have a 2001 corvette that still has abs and traction light, when these are on I can’t use my climate control. I just replaced ecbm at abs fixer and these are the codes p1571, p1689, and p1630. If you all have any info that could help it would be greatly appreciated!

The abs and traction control lights have no interaction with the climate control, the climate control issue is a separate issue.

The P1571 and P1689 are related, but you should not have a P1630 unless you have just replaced the PCM. "can't use my climate control" does not tell us anything specific.

...and you do not have any more codes H or C?

I just went in found many other codes the H I have b0502, B0503, B0507, B0508, B2578, B2597, B2282, B2384, B2262, B2264, U1064, B2283, B2285, U1064, C2100, C2105, C2110, C2215, U1064, now for the C I only have P1571, P1689, B0432, U1040, and P1630 from recently changing my pcm. I also noticed whenever my abs light randomly would turn off it would allow me to use my climate control (like heat, defrost, ac, anything), not sure if that’s related in any way.

The issue is your ignition switch. Bothe the EBCM and HVAC controller are on the sameswitched power of the ignition switch. Your best way to fix this is to remove the switch and clean the contacts in the back of it. Clean the contacts don't replace it. The original switch has a white and black body with a green cap over the contacts. New ones are a completely black body made in China with sketchy functionality.

Have done this on several cars with the same symptoms. If you are in the Disneyland area and want some one to do this for you PM me.

He is absolutely right on this. The chinesium units have contacts that are misaligned in all three axes. Much better off cleaning the original.

I cant help but think the EBTCM should have no bearing on the HVAC unit. Do you mean that the HVAC unit is totally dark/dead with no function when the ABS light is on?

They both are on the same switched circuit at the ignition switch. So when the contacts are sufficiently dirty from arcing it can cause slow power on to those and other modules. Cleaning the ignition switch contacts will correct the issue.
