multifunction switch
had an issue with my dash lights and park lights not working and the headlights popping up when I turned on my park lights, was told its the multi switch, so I got one from "Rock auto" and now my dash lights work when the headlights are on BUT no tail lights no park lights, fuses are okay I am at my wits end as to what i should look for is there a relay hat controls all? H E L P!

Perhaps list what is working normally for exterior lights including brake, hazards, DRL, etc.

I checked the #6 fuse for marker lights and it is okay, I do not have a dmm or test light. what works is head lights (high & low) fog lights work with headlamps only, tail lights work when head lights are on only, park lamps do not work BUT when you turn them on head lamp covers pop up.but are not on until you turn them on. turn signals and hazards work.

At this point you need to be able to work through a schematic, and do 12v/ground checks. It does not sound like there was any troubleshooting that led to a diagnosis, and I'm sure the new MFS was not tested before installing. Sounds like you will be well served taking this to a trusted shop.
