Default Remove headers for access?

Helping a friend replace torque tube on 2004 automatic, his couplers apparently failed so he bought another torque tube from a Corvette salvage company.

He noticed a rear main seal leak, and we are going to replace the cover/plate with a new unit with seal already installed.

So to pull bellhousing to gain access, will the long tube headers need to be removed or bolts taken off the head on driver’s side?

Already got passenger side header loose but still in car.

Or could the rear main seal and plate be removed with bell housing on engine if bolts loosened?

Yes you have to lose both headers and the 5 bolts that hold bellhouse to engine need to be loose the reach those top 3 bolts.
