I do not own a corvette but I am here to say that the memorial was a very nice thing to do. He will be greatly missed. I was a good friend and co-worker with Romolo. We were hired on the same day (Nov. 13, 1989). We worked side by side for many years and did tons of things outside of work. I have not got much sleep since the accident but last night was the worst. I went to the funeral yesterday and it had to be one of the worst things I had to deal with. I have never lost a close friend until now. I also went to the wake on Sunday night and there was a lot of people which was nice to see, I waited in line for 1 hour until I got to see him. The picture that was posted of Romolo with a few of you guys is with him in his casket. I hope all of you guys are doing OK dealing with this. If there is anything I can do please let me know. I didn't personally know him, but also lost a good friend in a similar situation a few years back and know it is tough.
Hope his family and friends get through this, the support shown on the forum shows he was a great guy :blueangel:

Thanks for posting. You're not alone in your feelings of loss, this is like a huge family here.

I'm sorry I missed the funeral,I was stuck in Florida,and couldn't get back until late last night.I'm looking into having some stickers and patches made up as a remembrance of Rom.
