Default New corvette

I just recently bought a 99 corvette and the only problems it has are the headlights. The previous owner had removed the fuses for them and manually put them up and down after supposedly rebuilding the headlight motor and it stopped working. I put fuses in and the drivers side popped up instantly and the passenger side stayed down. When I flip the headlight switch on and off nothing happens on either side. I can’t hear the motor on the drivers side but when I put my hand on the housing I can feel it moving in there constantly. I know these have problems with the motors going bad I just wanted to know if this sounds like both motors have gone out and need replaced

Unknown ultimately. I am a big fan of the Rodney Dick an kits as they are some of the originals. He also services a myriad of other GM cars with similar problems. So he'd be where I'd go for a motor rebuild kit.

If you have further electrical issues you can run your own fused relay harness off a switch to apply power to the headlights if need be.

Could be gear for the light, the motor for the light or the headlight controller. Headlight controller is on the passenger side under the headlight unit mounted against the back. Amazon is selling them now for about $85.00s. Believe me, I've had all three types of problems.
