quick gear ratio question
Can anyone tell me the ratio for a 2000 convertable with an auto trans? I have a friend looking to do something like a 373 but we need to know what he is starting with. Thanks for the help.

its either a 2.73 or a 3.15, Look for the code G92, its in the RPO codes. Its on the side of the glove box or under one of the compartment lids

3.73's aren't as bad as you would think. I recently went with them in my A4 and I can still comfortably cruise at 80. If I were to do it over again, I would have gone with 3.90's.
