The VRam gets favorable reviews as a cold air intake system. More elegant solution, making use of the fog light recess for air. No cutting, but is a bit of a PITA to install.
I believe the Vortex comes with three box styles, clear (my preference, so you can see if you sucked up anything, without getting under the car), black, and carbon fiber. Other than the cover, they are identical. Does require cutting of the shroud.
I just sold my Halltech intake as it was plumbed for Nitrous, which I also sold. I thought about the Vararam, but from everything I have read, I just have yet to be convinced that it is worth the extra money and hassle to install. This time I went with the Blackwing. Same dyno numbers and half the price.

Saw you get a great deal on one. :) Any other mods coming to replace that power?

RG, I almost went with the Vararam, really I did. But my car goes to Davenport Racing on March 10th. Lets just say I will be solidly in the 500 RWHP club. That much HP, espiecially here in Canada does not come cheap. The Blackwing I just purchased was priced right!
