Hello everyone, thanks for your help in the past. I thought this question would have been asked many times, but my search didn't turn any up, so here goes: My headlight door keeps sticking, gotta turn them on and off a few times to get it to come up. Any ideas how to fix, or take it to the dealer and get a new motor? Thanks again, Mark.

Had the same problem with mine recently and I had to replace the headlight door motor. I at first thought it was binding because the motor was running and the manual adjustment **** was spinning. The reason for the failure turned out to be a rubber component in the motor gear housing had deterriorated. I could not find the rubber component to repair the motor and had to replace the entire unit. This is an easy replacement you will be able to do yourself. I found the cheapest price (and great service) to be from the forums friend Ken.
You can check to make sure the door isn't binding on something by manually turning the **** hidden behind the rubber cover, but I suspect your motor is bad. Once you start turning the ****, you'll notice that you can grab the door and move it a bit up and down...... so you would be able to tell real quick if something is causing the door to stick.
