battery being drawn down
97 c5, something is draining my battery, it has always done it but over 2 weeks, if I knew I would not be driving it in that time, I hook up a battery maintainer. This week it drained it in 4 days.
What are some of the devices that cause it? Where to start? I know this has been asked many times, just bare with me

Very first thing is to make certain your battery is maintaining its charge, remove, charge it and have it load tested at a local auto parts store. After insuring that the battery is good, you have to perform a sleep mode current drain measurement. Have to wire a DVM in series with the negative battery terminal and negative cable, meter should be configured as a amp meter and selected to 10 amps. Close all doors with no keys in the Ignition switch and wait approximately 20 minutes, the normal current drain should be about 25ma.

That's within spec, with that current drain your car should be able to start after three weeks to a month. I thought my car had excessive current drain once, but it was the battery which was not holding a charge.
