smoke removal
I recently bought a used 04 targa top with 94k on it. The car had obviously been detailed but it was clean and acceptable. Now 6 months later it's also obvious why they had it done. Somewhere in its history a chain smoker owned it. It's most noticeable when running the hvac system.I have an ozone generator that I have used but that creates its own issues. What have you used or done to successfully get the stench out of your cars?

Have you had it professionally detailed?

Either get the carpets steam cleaned or replaced.
Lysol down the HVAC ducts.

Get yourself a bottle of Poof deoderizer
takes a couple of applications but the stuff makes things have no smell, even animal pee

I've had good results with activated charcoal pouches in the past as well. Just leave them in the car for a couple weeks.

Maybe a box of Arm and Hammer baking soda laying on its side with the side cut open. Like people use in the refrigerator.
