C5 Blend doors
I need to replace the Blend Doors on my 99. There are several brands to choose from. Which Brand in most dependable?
My mistake. I should have said actuators. I think the blend doors don't work correctly because the actuators have broken gears in them. My air is coming out all of the vents when using the A/C (cold). When I try to use the heat, I get heat on the drivers side and cold on the passenger side.
So, I wanted to know which brand of actuators are most dependable.
I noted that there are automatic and manual actuators. I think my unit is automatic. Plus it has two temperature zones (Driver/Passenger)

It’s not a fun answer, but my trust goes to SMP, GM, and Wells, in that order. The un-fun comes from them generally being the most expensive parts, and while I find them the best option, I do not find them wonderfully better than the rest.
