P0171 C just poped up!
i just switched from a blackwing to a halltech T1
check engine light came on and this is the code i got.
have driven over 60 miles since the switch, and i believe the code means fuel system lean.
should i clear it and see if it pops up again? and if it does then what?
will it relearn again or do i have a problem...
I had a similar problem with my T1 as well. I would reset the code and do the relearn process again. Check all the connection on the intake and make sure it's tight. Did you remember to put the black gummy stuff on the MAF inlet where it meets the elbow? This is where it's most likely to have a small air leak thus causing your car to throw a code.
I think you have an air leak. This code is commonly caused by a leak downstream of the MAF sensor. Check your coupling to the throttle body for a leak. It is very easy to miss a big gap on the coupler below the TB.
