Default Ranger method clutch fluid change

When doing the ranger method should you drive first to warm up the fluid? Also, will a 32 oz. bottle be sufficient?

No you don't, and yes Follow manual what dot rating to use. I just use plan old 3 dot but some use 4.

For a C5 Corvette (1997-2004), either DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid is compatible with the hydraulic clutch system, although the factory recommendation is DOT 3 Corvette Central,. Many owners upgrade to DOT 4 for its higher boiling point, which provides better resistance to heat, especially if the car is driven hard.

32oz will be plenty for multiple changes...
I've never driven mine to warm up the fluid before change...

Also, just be clear, you will only be replacing the fluid in the reservoir (several times), so the amount of fluid is minimal.

And don’t mix 3 and 4. Just stick with 3. Might want just 16oz.

Protect against fluid contacting painted surfaces!

Don't waste your time with the Ranger method. I would go this route before the Ranger method if not bleeding at the slave. All the Ranger method does is cycle fluid around the master, and a minimal amount of fluid back and forth from the start of the line - it's not doing much of anything to get down to the slave where you need to bleed the entire line.
