Corsa Extreme Issues

Good evening, has anyone else had issues with their Corsa system making a loud jingling noise, especially on start up ? Corsa has been great in warrantying them and have replaced both mufflers at different times but now the noise is back louder and longer than ever so now I am wondering of it could be something else. Everything is very tight. When I smack on the exhaust I cannot replicate the sound at all. But when I start the car it sounds like a chain jingling under the car. Once everything gets some heat in it, it goes away. If you have experienced this I would appreciate your input. Thanks

A friend of mine had a header bolt rattling around in there after a shop installed headers and dropped a bolt in the exhaust. He found it after removing the headers himself and installing ceramic coated headers. So that’s what that noise was for the past 3 years.

I wondered if its that too and I have used a rubber mallet on the entire exhaust and I don't get any jingle at all. Every time I replaced a muffler it seems like it goes away for a little while but this time the jingle is worse than ever. when you are standing next to the car you can hear it so loudly that you would think it would be easy to find but no luck yet

Been there. You can hear it plain as day but nobody can place where the jingle comes from. I was hoping someone else has had this issue and can tell me what fixed theirs. Like I said, Corsa has already replaced both mufflers at different times and each time it appeared to go away for a short time, but when you shake the mufflers there is nothing that sounds like something is loose in them. I will work on it again this weekend and see if I can find the issue

I had a ratteling sound in my exhaust, It turned out to be the O2 sensors. the cap on top of the sensor had loosen up and making noise

im definitely going to check that when I get back in town. Thanks for the heads up. I have never messed with them so it would be good to check that regardless. Thanks again.
