Default Question on O2 Sims #2

didn't want to jack BIG LAW MAN's thread on O2 sims but I have questions also.

I want to make a intermediate pipe without cats for the track.

It would be fairly easy to weld an X pipe into the stock intermiediate section that was left over when I put on LT headers and the X pipe.

My issue is that I would have to add some pipe to make it the proper length and it would not have the female threads to accept the O2 sims.

Question #1 what happens if you don't plug in the after cat O2's
Question #2 can you get O2 sims but not have them connected to the exhaust system????????????????

Default Re: Question on O2 Sims #2 (Gary2KC5)

Gary, if you don't plug in the wire harness you will get a check engine light. The code will be O2 problem. When you elimate the cats you need to get the after market 02 simulators, Jegs have the best price. Once you have those installed everything will be back to normal.

Road America is getting close. Going out to Bragg Smith Driving School next month.
