While driving this weekend I suddenly lost power. Pushing on the gas pedal had no response. I pulled over and stopped turned off the engine opened the hood and checked both plugs in the throttle body they seem to be okay. Restarted the motor and engine went to 3500 then back down. Every time I start the car I get this up and down reving . Any idea what is causing this. Would appreciate any advice I can get. Thanks,Bob

My reference to what does what is about the forum itself. I'm from the generation whose first car was a 9 year old 55 Chevy. The car is at my mechanics shop. He may not be a Corvette specialist but he is honest which says a lot about some of other Dealers and shops in my area. He is very busy but said he will do a code read. I hope he has a big tablet 🙏. I had my ABS and stability control module rebuilt and it did not fix the problem. I will keep the FORUM updated on my progress. Thanks to everyone who sent info.
We understand your perspective and wish not to pry further, Bob. Just know, you can always reach our team via email at socialmedia@gm.com if you choose to recruit our aid in the future. Drive safely.
