Default 1997 ECM connector location

Hi Corvette friends. I have a 1997 Corvette I just replaced the engine on, I have to reinstall the ECM and it appears the red and blue connectors can come in from the rear of the car or the front. I know where the outside of the ECM is does anyone know if the when the connectors are coming from the rear of the car if the red or blue connector is on the outside of the car and which one is on the inside of the car/ECM?
Thank you,
John

You will get better results when searching if you look for PCM (Powertrain Control Module), as opposed to ECM.

No offense if English is not your first language.. I have read this 4 times, and still do not know what you are asking. Perhaps post pics.

Thank you for the feedback, especially on the PCM verbiage. So on my 1997 Corvette the PCM is located behind the right front wheel. When the harness comes in from behind it does the blue connector go on the inside or outside of the PCM. I know they are keyed but that PCM can also be put in 180° off and the wiring harness could also come in from in front of the PCM versus the rear. That's why I want to clarify when coming in from the rear is the blue connector on the inside or outside of the PCM. Thank you

It is written on the PCM receptacle which color goes where. I just looked at one thats for sale on Ebay and it shows the outside connector is red.
