I have stock 98 wheels that are overdue for replacement, and my tires are worn out so now is the time. I am looking at going 18*9.5" front and 18*10.5 rear. I think the larger wheels up front will look good, and I'd like an extra inch of rubber on back. My concerns are:
Will these wheel sizes effect my traction control or ABS (I do not have AH)?
Any fitment issues, including sticking out from the car?
Any reasons I should not do this, that I am not suspecting?
What is the WIDEST tire size that will safely run on 10.5 width? 295? I read a post from one guy, was running 335s!

No, but this relates more to the tire size and overall diamteter. See size recommendations below.

Nope.

Not that I know of, it's a very commom upgrade, many forum members have done this with zero problems.

Your best and safest (problem-free) bet for tire sizes would be a 265/35/18 front and a 295/35/18 rear.
A 305 or 315 tire could fit, but there's only one or two manufacturers in these sizes. The 305/30 is very short in height, which could cause TC problems, and I can't find specs on the 315/35 that is supposedly available. The 335/30 on a 10.5 rim is ridiculous and I would not recommend it. It would also stick out slightly.
