My Corvette is emitting a lot of smoke from its exhaust. It might be water vapor, but it stings my eyes, so I think it's oil. When I disassembled the intake manifold the other day, there was a small puddle of oil around the throttle valve body. It seems like the oil is corroding the intake manifold. Is there any connection between this and the white smoke?

No offense, if you cannot discern between water vapor, oil smoke, or coolant smoke....you should take your car to a trusted shop.
You said you "disassembled the intake manifold"...so I take it you have a FAST intake or something that can be disassembled? Why would you think oil has corroded the manifold? Not something I have ever seen before.
It's not uncommon to find oil in the intake, especially if the PCV system is less than functional or you have significant blow by.
Knowing EXACTLY what type of smoke you have will guide next steps and specific troubleshooting.
White smoke is usually a indication of coolant getting into the combustion chamber, where blue is usually oil, and blackish exhaust is a very rich or excessive gasoline condition. Have you checked the oil on the dip stick, it may show water is mixing in with the oil.
