2003 convertible. I need to remove the power antenna and I've watched several videos.I understand going through the tail light to unbolt it, but they say to remove the nut on the top of the body. What nut? There is no nut. Am I blind?

Sorry you left yourself wide open on this one Only old timers know what i'm talking about.
P.S. It's the nut behind the steering wheel.
back to topic, can't help there sorry
The black plastic dome at the base of the antenna sitting on the rubber grommet should rotate like a nut ... caution as I believe it is plastic not metal ... I have not changed mine but on the Vette but have with other vehicles and they all seem to have that universal assembly ... should be able to follow the reverse assembly based on your replacement antenna ... hope this helps
I just replaced mine, like said above it is very easy. The nut is chrome and only has two sides on it for a wrench to grab.
Take out both tail lights and you can see everything. it is super easy, took about an hour and I replaced with a manual one and spliced the antenna line also.

It is quite small and is somewhat buried in the rubber or plastic of the antenna housing on top of the fender. It is also a very unusual nut and very expensive, so don't lose track of it! Mine fell off somewhere along the road, and I think I paid $40 for a new one.
