Default Brake Line Install

When installing new brake lines, do you completely drain the master cylinder of fluid. I thought that had potential problems with ABS module.

What is the procedure to change a line basically.

Drain fluid using mightyvac from brake lines
Disconnect old line
Reconnect new line

At this point do you do the next wheel, or can you bleed this line and then move to the next.

I'm looking for a quick procedure. I know how to bleed the brakes, learned that one putting in the new bias spring last summer.

BTW: Is this a good time to just take the calipers off for painting and change the pads?

I would not drain the old fluid at all. You can use the rubber caps that are on the bleeder screws to cover the brake line on the car side while you change each line. Do all 4 then bleed the system.

I would guess that this would be the best time to paint your calipers.

So the fluid doesn't just pour out.

Also, what is a jambo (sp?) vs. an AN fitting? Is that the fitting that is there for bleeding the brakes? What is on there stock?
