Default Twisted seat belt
Drivers side seat belt twisted in the retractor on 2000 convertible. What is the best way to get it untwisted without messing up the retractor?

I don't have a firm response, but I'd try pulling it out to full length first. If it is stuck, I have removed the reel and went to work by hand or with strong flat tip screwdrivers to move the belt and get it free.

My mother was good at these. She would somehow get it to re track enough to release. It is just a lot of forcing in and trying to get it to release.
