Driver side low beam headlight went out.

Last night on the way home turn on headlights and everything went as normal. But then the drivers sided head light went out, and now the headlight will not come down stays in the pop up position. Check the bulb and it works. Now what?

Try the high beam trick. Hold the stalk in flash high beam mode and try cycling the headlights on/off to close the bucket.

That ought to work unless there is a wire or bulb issue.

Note that the left headlamps and left lamp door share a common connector, according to the schematic I have. Given the lamp and door failed at the same time, this would be a good troubleshooting point.

change headlight control module and lights now go up and down...........but drivers side headlight is out.........switched light bulbs and they both work on passenger side.....dang stumped
