Default Fuel Injector Pressure Clean??

In my 85 and 94, I used the 3M fuel injector cleaning kit (pressurized fuel injector cleaner bottle and long hose with fittings) through the fuel rail to pressure clean the injectors every 30k miles. Prior to hooking up the hose and bottle to the fuel rail, you had to pull the fuel pump fuses. Then hook up to the fuel rail, open the hose valve, start the car and let the engine run off of the bottle until empty. Are these the same steps I can use for my 99? Do I have to disconnect any other lines that I didn't before?

Pull fuse for pump you may need to diss. return and block at rail [hose w/bolt in end] other than that same thing. The older vette we would pinch return but they had rubber lines.
