coilovers
Have a 1999 C5, FRC......What do you think about coilovers...Good or Bad?..I have lowered the car on bolts, have a noise from rear.....What coils would you recommend?..............John...

Based on breakage and returns, not Silvers or BC.
Vikings (KellTrac), RideTech, LG for entry expense to mid and all US manufactured.
I never thought about coils as being to go to the lowest setting. I went for the inherent suspension function change and was very happy as a street driver. Track guys sometimes still prefer the Z06 leads. I can't speak to that. But I can speak to a far less bumpy ride and no major body slam if you go over a pothole. The wheels affected just handle it and the chassis cruises through.
Going TO coils I did not feel the difference so much immediately.
Swapping them out to the newer C5 and going BACK to Z06 leafs and Bilsteins on the daily? I immediately wanted to sell the car.
