Check gauges
I have a 99 frc and the crck gauges light will randomly come on and all my gauges will zero out.. I put an aftermarket radio in and when it flashes the radio will shut off but the car had the issue before I changed the radio. I have tried the ignition switch as well as cleaning all the grounds. I also have an airbag light that stays on and I noticed on a wiring diagram that the airbag module and the cluster are all one circuit. Anything helps, thank you in advance!!

What do you mean you "tried" the ignition switch?

Years ago I had a similar problem, driving along on the road and suddenly everything went blank. Added Chevron additive and never had it again, but always keep a bottle in the trunk. Also now I only add Top Tier gas (93 octane in my area).
