Front you turn the bolt counter-clockwise (lefty loosey). The bolt head flange rests on top of the lower A arm. The leaf runs between the A arms. The leaf will move closer to the lower arm
The rear, the spring is BELOW the lower arm. the bolt , up through the spring, then passes through the lower arm with a nut on top. Hold the bolt from rotating at the bottom and rotate the nut at the top upward. You will be increasing the space between the arm and spring.
Keep in mind that cranking her all the way into the weeds on the stock bolts will NOT work with any manufacture's stock length shocks. You will be darn need riding on the bump stops in the rear and when hitting a bump the car's rear end will literally jump sideways due to a lack of available compression travel. The remedy is shorter length shocks specifically designed for the lower ride height such as the shorter Bilstein B8 units.
