Default HVAC control head dual zone schematic?

Anyone out there have a schematic to the hvac control head? I replaced my 14 backlight bulbs with regular halogen and they look great, but too damn bright. I want to install an inline resistor to tame down the brightness. Thanks

What p/n did you use? I have seen good results with #7219 and #8111.

I used halogen 3mm bulbs from eBay. There was no part/model number given. Physically, they are smaller than the stock ones.

Ok. So why not just replace with bulbs that provide proven results instead of adding another variable?
