All I had to do was remove the water pump and at the right angle it came right out. Did it all on ramps with no need to remove the wheel. The one part that took me a minute to figure out was how to remove the bolt that holds the lines to the back of the compressor. It’s a really tight space with the frame in the way. Use a small short 1/4 inch ratchet from up top and one or two clicks at a time you can remove and reinstall the bolt. Once the bolt is loose I think I was able to turn it out with my fingers. Same for reinstalling. All these parts are aluminum so just tightened down snug does the trick.

I did it by removing the water pump.
I ended up replacing the WP while doing the job, not a fun job, but went smoothly with no issues.
Did this with Quickjacks and removing the front Pass wheel

I removed (and replaced) the water pump when I changed out my AC compressor. The hardest part, if I recall correctly, was removing the bottom bolts from the AC compressor. Take your time and it is not a bad job at all.
