Default DELETING TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR SYSTEM

I BOUGHT A 2000 WITH DIFFERENT THEN STOCK WHEELS, EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT I GET THE WARNING TO SERVICE TIRE PRESSURE SENSING SYSTEM. I AM WONDERING IS THERE A WAY TO TURN THIS FEATURE OFF. :

Yes it can be turned on and off with a Tech II diagnostics tool. Most GM dealerships have them.

Yes it can be turned on and off with a Tech II diagnostics tool. Most GM dealerships have them.
So, there is no fuse that could be pulled?? I was wondering the same thing because I'm looking at new wheels.

Nope Tech II only. Why not just use the pressure sensors.?

Nope Tech II only. Why not just use the pressure sensors.?

I installed them on my Z06 .... great peace of mind.... it was hard to live without them after owning a Coupe for years...

Sorry guys Tech 2 will not be able to disable the tire sensors on a 2000 Corvette. Tech 2 only works on 2001 and up, because the tire sensor delete option was only added to your PCM's in 2001 due to the addition of the Z06 without sensors. 97-00 PCM's do not have that option available. We tried it here locally with a guy who has tech 2 :(
