Hello all, i have a 2002 c5 z06. I had a mechanic put an ls2 crate engine in it. There’s a couple things i haven’t gotten working. The engine fires up for about a second then dies. I checked my codes. I think I have a MAP sensor issue? Also, I dont see where to connect the knock sensors. The original harness had the old style. My engine connects on the sides of the block. Idk if that would cause my symptoms. I got these two connectors behind the engine that are not plugged in to anything which makes me wonder if something is wrong there. Anyone got any advice or ideas?

So what happened here, did the mechanic bail on you? Why is the mechanic not troubleshooting and making this right?
Pull the sleeving back from the connector and check the wire colors.
Brown/white stripe, Pink/black stripe, red.......is the camshaft sensor
Dark blue/white stripe, yellow/black stripe, light green......is the crankshaft sensor
because he’s a dumb bastard. He said he doesn’t know electrical. I gave him a running engine in another car to swap to a roller and he said he could do it then he just stopped.
