Default Fuel pressure regulator Q's

On my car (98) I have a vac line that runs from the fuel pressure regulator to the air bridge. How does this line route on later cars. I would like to remove it, or simplify it. What are other people doing? Thanks.

It is my understanding that , the specific line you refer to helps lean out the mixture at higher speeds. I have a 98 also. I installed a Fuel Line Recurve Kit which moved this line to the opposite side of the Throttle Body with a special nylon "t". Several members have expressed the thought that, this mod is of no value. I do not know. The more learned members will have to complete this info.

Latter cars do not have a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. And so, of course, there is no vacuum line. I would not disturb your factory line, it leans out the air/fuel mixture for proper ratio at high power conditions
