Brola Stinger
I have the 2 tip Borla Stingers on my car. I have a question about the tips. What material are they made of? The reason I ask is because they get so dirty and nasty/dull looking so quick. The only way to clean them is to use steel wool. I didn't have that problem with the stock titanium exhaust. I am even thinking of getting the tips dipped in chrome (kinda ricy?).
Any suggestions?

Stainless steel I believe. I haven't had a problem with my XR1 tips dulling, but they are slightly different than the Stingers. I just Zaino them and use soap and water to clean. :seeya

Perhaps a phone call to the Borla Corporation may help. (get the number from borla.com) They may have a recommendation for the cleaning and maintenance of their own product....just a suggestion!!

mine come clean with soap and water...
However, I know some guys with H/C packages without the cats and theirs stay virtually slimey all the time because of the unburnt fuel residue.
