more power

more power
i like to get more power, but dont wanna spend 5grand for a supercharger. i have the ls6 intake ,long tubes, high flows ,and aexhaust. what would be the next logical move will keeping smoke legal :confused:

im a pretty handy guy, i did all the other mods i have myself. could i do a cam myself and if so which one would i get. not to radical i want to be streetable and pass smog tests :confused:

I'm with the gears guy. I say do the 390 or 410 gears... like adding 50-75 hp. :)

No, you do not have to install modified heads if you do the cam, many cams work very well with the stock heads. But installing heads will give you more HP in most cases.

I'd go the cam route. You can pick up nice gains without breaking the bank.

Do both cam and gears. Of course, then you will need bigger rear tires!
