assuming you are talking about the rear half-shafts, simply disconnect enough of the suspension parts that you can rotate the spindle out of the way. Usually either upper or lowre balljoint and the brake lines. You should be able to pull the shaft out of the diff, then pull it down, and slide it the other way, pulling the outter part of the shaft from the hub. It isn't bolted anywhere, just slides on both ends.
