Transgo Question (another)
Just recvd. transgo Kit 4L60E-B (complete w/ video...hope it's G-rated).
My question to you fine fellas who have gone w/ Transgo is: "how do you disable the Torque Management"?, which was suggested.
Anybody know?

Whether you will have problems with the warranty on your tranny depends on how mod friendly your dealer is if you have a problem with your tranny. If the dealer determines that the problem was caused by the shift kit he could void the warranty on your transmission. Before you install the shift kit you might want to take a look at the Yank Converters web site under F.A.Q.s Yank and other converter makers do not recommend the use of shift kits.

That would require a program change.. :rolleyes: Typically it should be done with LS1 edit..although the Transgo will work without the disabling the TMS..

It turns out that Transgo is in El Monte, CA. I can hit them with a rock from my office. I bought the kit from a dealer in Texas... (go figure):conehead:
I'll probably cruise over Monday a.m. & see what they have to say.
