Kid out of college and finally got dad's toy, so I just don't know........ does the C5 have a rev limiter or could I over wind it in 1st or 2nd? If I red line it, could I blow this thing apart or cause serious problems? [IMG][/IMG]
Only way to "blow" is by missing a down shift and mechanicall over-revving. LS1's are set at 6200 and ls6 at 6500. You can't hurt it by revving to high on the way up, UNLESS you miss shift (like going from 2nd back into 1st).

Corey, Ok, just ONE more time...... first I put my left foot on the little square peddle on the left, not the middle one, ok, ok, ok, got it, then put it in " R " for race, place right foot on long skinny peddle & press about 1/2 to 3/4's of the way , ok, ok, here's the confusing part, while keeping the long peddle down and keeping my.. uhhh... left heel on the floor, let my toes slide off the square peddle so it pops back up, and keep my eye on the road..........ok, ok, got it  [IMG][/IMG]
