Default Installing Vortex Rammer

Is the hole in the template supposed to be parallel to the template sides?
The hole in my template is tilted abour 10 degrees. Was it just poorly cut out?

First off, don't use the template. The easiest way to do this is to install the filter on the MAF through the opening in the box. Place the box where you want it and mark where the holes are. Then remove the box, drill the holes, and cut inside the holes. It's a whole lot easier and will allow you to line up the box where it should be.

As I recall, they run somewhere in the neighborhood of $30.

Thanks SS. I was using the template because I bought a new shroud and was going to cut it before installing.
