i was just looking into getting a NHRA legal cage "for safety's sake" and peace of mind. I dont "NEED IT" persay, but would just like to go ahead and be better off safe than sorry. Know what i mean?
Is the Wolfe 6pt. NHRA legal? However if you are doing it make it legal. I am looking mostly for my own safety not rules requirements. The track days do not require a cage. I plan on doing some track events and my friends life was save with an autopower 4 pt bar in a 2nd Gen RX7 however he was still injured badly. A 6 point would most likely have prevented many of the injuries.
LG do we have take the car to your shop since it is custom or do you sell kits? How much are we looking for on a cage install. 6 point swing out bars up front. Swing out bars are NHRA legal?
I have a Kirk Racing 10-point cage. If you are going to install a rollbar, you might as well go all the way and install the full cage. Either way the interior is going to be cut up and going back to stock is not an opition.

I believe a 6-point with the front swing out bars is 1999.00 installed. That basically the same as my bar, but I had an extra diagnonal added for side impact strength and to meet both NHRA and SCCA requirements. Also we can ship the bars out to you, we don't have to install them ourselves, they are ready to weld in.
i would defiently be interested in a GP, saves me money, makes you money, it all works out for the best. Just make note of my name and email me when your ready to start. Actually, around May would be the best time for me.
