ABOUT TO INSTALL CATBACK: ANY SURPRISES?
I'm afraid the answer is NO (I was going to throw them away anyway). If this is the case, what's the best way to remove them?
I need info WHERE to cut the pipe, and what to use. I heard the term 'chain pipe cutter' but never heard that (or seen one) before. A hack saw seems like a very tight fit. Are Corsas and B&Bs come with gaskets and all necessary hardware? Ordered Route 66, but heard Corsa touring might be quieter inside; can change order by tomorrow at 9am.
Anyway, all your comments are welcomed.

I just replaced my stockers with GHLs. I had to cut them in the vertical pipe section behind the axles. At first I cut the passenger side pipe in the horizontal section, but the pipe wouldn't come out rotating to the front because of the resulting 'L'-shaped end. The over the axle sections won't rotate to the rear because of the flange section. Raising the car really high doesn't help much, just raise it enough to be comfortable. I used a die grinder, the metal cuts pretty easily (if you can get the grinder in there).

A4's also are more difficult, a very tight squeeze to get out in one pc, but it has been done. You will need to unbolt the passenger side of the swaybar as well.
A sawzall would be the tool of choice if you cut them.
Not sure about the B&B or Corsa's, but my GHL's didn't come with the flange gaskets. I reused the old ones and old flange bolts.
Anyway, is a die grinder one of those that welders use to cut metal? I'll probably rent one that day.
Hey, I have a brand new air tool set I bought at Sams; I wonder if there's a 'grinder' in there. I doubt it, but will check anyway.
Thanks again man.
