Does anyone know where the difference the offset is in a 9.5 vs 10.5 wheel. Is it in the rear(back) part of the wheel or the front of the wheel. Or is it .5 in front and .5 in the rear. Thanks.
On my OEM Z06 Spedline rims offset is
front 54mm with 9.5, rear 56mm with 10.5
When you take a look at the outside, the rear spokes are designed more into the inside than the fronts, or to say in the rear the lip comes more out than in the front
With the above data you can make two little drawings (9.5 and 10.5 rim )and maybe get an answer by looking where the offset is located.

OK was interested myself, so I did the math: from 9.5 to 10.5 rim
there is 2 mm offset difference and each lip is half inch more out/in
so if a 10.5 is mounted instead of the 9.5
the inner lip moves to the inside 12.7 plus 2 makes about 15 mm
the outer lip moves to the outside 12.7 minus 2 makes about 11 mm
Correct me if I´m wrong or misunderstood your question.
I didnt explain myself very well at all. What I am doing is putting Z06 wheels on my 97 C5. I was wondering where the inch difference is between the front 9.5 wheel and the stock 8.5 wheel. Is the extra inch on the Z06 wheel in the backspacing or in the outside of wheel. Sorry if i confused anyone. I know I did myself. Thanks.
